Dear Friends:

“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High” Psalm 92:1. As the Thanksgiving season approaches, it is a good reminder that our thanks and praise to our LORD are always timely. Fishers of Men thanks and praises our LORD for allowing us to have prayer and financial supporters like you!

Bro. Jeph in the Philippines wrote, “The more than one month of constant raining is over (sort of like 40 days and nights)! We survived, but many landslides and flooding resulted in lives and properties lost.”

The Bible Institute in India is functioning well and will have graduation at the end of January 2027. More students are joining the next batch for the coming year. Most of them come from non-Christian backgrounds. After they accept Christ you can see a real change in their lives. Some special meetings have been conducted and they were able to help some extremely poor families with blankets, bed sheets, etc. These people live in small huts. They are very receptive to the Word of God. Small house churches are progressing in many places. (Unable to be specific in reporting.)

Bro. Lemon in Bangladesh reports:

  • Many people have lost their lands and houses when rivers got wider from flooding due to extreme rains. In the last couple of years they lost two of the church buildings that were built near the riverbank. They were originally built with bamboo, wood and tin. Now they are rebuilding them with concrete. Many others still need rebuilding.

  • Another baptism for new converts will hopefully take place in late October or November, with a new church in a new village to be established in 2027.

  • A tense political situation in the rural areas has increased again because of the coming local political election (not the National Election). The Muslim community wants to place their own leaders in local offices as well as national ones. Sometimes the Muslims try to convert other minority people by persecution, not preaching.

  • The agriculture lands have recently been planted with rice, which will be harvested in December, and then planted with watermelon in February to be harvested in May.

  • Recently Bible Baptist Church of Lupton, Michigan, sent their VBS offering to Bangladesh for the children’s work. With those funds they built two restrooms for the school children, as well as giving umbrellas to the students for the rainy season, along with study materials and food. Later they will give them blankets and school bags.

  • Interior finishing touches are being done to the third floor of the base station building.

  • Bro. Lemon’s weekly two-hour Bible Study with Pastor Nate Rugullies via the internet has proven to be a great “double” blessing for Bro. Lemon as well as the Bible School students.

  • They still have open doors to preach and win souls in Bangladesh.

Statistics show an increase in Podcast listeners to the radio broadcasts, A Fisherman’s 5-Minute Look at the Book and The Mariner’s Call. If you are not a listener, tune in for a blessing.

I hope you will enjoy some current pictures illustrating some of this report’s news.
